Winter’s White Felt Christmas
In the mites of the humanity,
One day is set aside, a day a joy, a day of love and happiness,
Winter’s Christmas snow falls like the soft downy features,
It’s wintry white only comes once a year,
A day the symbolizes peace, peace that brings the world together,
But for only a day and a night, a night for the turn of a new year,
Blizzards separate the leaders from their followers,
The shear cold strengthens the heart, and good nature creates love,
Blizzards could plunge to unbearable cold, but my good warm nature harbors no love,
The stars offer their guidance, and the lights of the dance with the lights of the south,
Colors of the human eyes shine bright in their dances of light,
But no Christmas angel seems to fall from the heavens mighty sky,
I know what I’d wish for the day of Christmas but those color don’t dance,
Tears can’t run, they fall and smash like the glass of red wine pain,
The Christmas lights ignore my cold heart, stripping the warmth,
Plunging my mind into the darkness,
Where snow no longer carries the sparkle of her eyes,
The lights of the north and south no longer dance with each other,
But winter’s white felt Christmas still burns in her heart,
Shielded by the blue ice, my pain can’t touch her,
Covered by the winter of snow,
My eyes are blinded by the blizzard that brought me strength,
Entombed, winter’s white felt Christmas brings her happiness and joy.
