When Will You Arrive
I’ve been looking for you but you are nowhere to be found,
I call for you but still no answer from you,
I create a thousand poems for you,
To call out for you but still I can’t find you,
All my friends are getting married and are oh so happy,
But I still sit at the bar waiting for you to find me,
I still leave you clues on where you can find me, but soon time will run out for me,
As the clock ticks forward the time I have to find you is running out,
My life is dependent on where you are,
I’ve searched this earth over a million times but still I can’t find you,
So now I cry everyday I can’t find you at day’s end,
My heart begin to beat an unrhythmic beats as my time runs out to find you,
And then I forget to check one spot,
A spot where I’ve only seen myself,
And there you are waiting for me by the sunset waters of a quiet beach,
A sight that would stun most but a sight that mends my heart so I can love,
Love you forever like all my friends,
Married and happy forever,
A dream that I will always cry over,
But for now I still have time to find you.
