What Matters The Most
Most people don’t realize what is truly important until it disappears,
Events sometimes give you a second chance, only teaching you a lesson,
Sometimes braking your heart, and even leaving a scare,
To the brink of death I have been, and watched a dear friend die,
Lessons I have learn, by misfortune none the less,
My dear friends and my family are always good thing to have, and sometimes the pain,
Love and joy build passion,
Boldness and bravery build character,
And mistakes and accidents create a wiser man,
What truly matters isn’t our cell phone, or a sports car,
But the things that we cannot control
With your family behind you and your friends beside you, that is what matters the most,
To catch you if you fall and to share the wisdom from points of views,
From now to the end of time those things will never change
Basic but necessary,
I have found out what matters the most, now have you,
Listen to those around, a new lesson is around the corner,
Something that you have never learned and could be applied later,
What matters the most will make true honest tears fall like a summer monsoon,
Things uncontrollable but are the building blocks of life,
What truly matters the most is the life that you share with others and they share with you.
