Take The Shot
Bring on the fire, bring me the pain, show me the worst,
Aim the mussel straight, load what you think is right, steady your hand and decide,
Shaky hands means your not ready, steady hands mean your ready,
Ready for the fight, or ready to take down, now take the shot, the past never be forgotten,
Bring out the beast in what you think is love, or be ready for hell,
Hot lead can kill if done wrong, if done write love bleeds out for you,
Carved my gun, a block of steel, trigger works like the hands of the clock,
Bullets measured to give the right punk, a bullet to kill only if need be,
And a bullet for the heart, to nail my love to where it matters, a shot that needs to count,
Can’t miss the chance, can’t miss that beat, that single life time moment,
A millisecond of time to change everything, for better or for the worst,
A single bullet changed me forever, affects my way of life, true fear, immense pain,
Now that I have carved out my gun, my weapon of chose, I pick up its power,
True power of death, true moment of time, to unbelievable to see or react,
I aim away, the mussel aimed into the darkness that keeps into the darkness of pain,
Hands steady, eyes sharp, target locked and ready,
This will decide my new way of life, a single shot,
Bring back old fears, memories stained like the blood that was left behind,
My eyes blink as I pull the trigger, the energy kicks backs, a shock wave, as the gun fires,
I took the shot to get rid of my fear, and a second shot ends in a miss,
Reload, and re-aim to take another shot.
