Sunglasses
Some say that I’m spineless,
But sadly I’m not spineless I’m just a shy country boy,
A boy who hides behind a pair of sunglasses,
Afraid what other might think of me,
I hide behind my shades to look normal,
Because I act different,
The way I think is different from other so I hide behind sunglasses,
So I can hide I plan sight from others,
In public I act different so not to be signaled out,
But with my friend I am free to be me,
Free from the rays of society that trap me behind my sunglasses.
