Shipwreck
A thousand miles away from shore,
A ship was lost to time and space,
Forgotten like the past,
A safe with a key thrown away forever,
A soul who wants to be set free,
But locked away forever in a grave of water,
Such power and wisdom lost forever,
Thousands try to unlock this power but all fail,
No one has the key to unlock the shipwrecked safe,
Forgotten once again,
The sole dreams of being set free from his watery grave,
Waiting for endless time to pass,
The one to set him has tried once before but wants to try again,
Unsure she is afraid to try again,
Unsure if she could unlock the safe with this key,
And still this shipwrecked safe lies at the bottom of this watery gave,
Cold and dark with all hope lost he dies with lost hope,
Never to discover that the key fit’s the shipwrecked safe.
