Shapes Of Darkness
The darkness tries to grab your soul,
Its power unmatched, it shape unknown,
Its fire burning unlike anything else known,
Shapes and spheres threatened by its power, pointless ambitions,
Robbing people of their freedom, robbing you of hope and happiness,
Afraid but not disturbed by power or form,
My blue eyes bring happiness and calmness to those in fear,
My fears are nothing till those are safe,
Un-surety doesn’t faze me, it strengthens my grip, and opens my eyes,
Shocking the blue of my eyes into the fears of others,
The shapes of darkness have now got a fear,
A fear that it turn them away,
Showing others that fear is nothing,
Figures of your own imagination, things that change from darkness to light,
But as long as your afraid, my heart thunders like a mad freight train,
My blood pumping like a jack hammer,
And my eyes search like two bright light houses,
The shapes of darkness are nothing so long as I’m near by,
Shapes of darkness are nothing to fear.
