My Thunder
The heaven’s open and the rain pours like God’s mighty tears,
The winds blow as hard as giant twisters,
And every time I blink lightning strikes the ground,
My heartbeat beats to the base boom of thunder,
A hellish storm that I’ve created,
The storm only swings to the life of my own,
My family and friends are protected by the eye,
And when life throws me for a loop the storm surge rises,
It’s waters purple from the saddened pain,
And red with the blood of my wounds,
Lover’s ships sink as they change their course,
Even as bomb shells explode, my stormy thunder rages on,
Their black oil only fuels my burning passion,
Violent, colorful thunder and its pulsing rhythm of life,
Its pulse opens others to the colors of the sun,
And the colors of their lover’s eyes,
And when my thunder stops,
The world will see my rainbow of truth,
It’s color showing the reason for thunder and lightning.
