Lost Your Touch
When you told me what had happened,
I believed what you had told me
Blinded by passion, logic was lost in the mists of chaos,
My moon only at half, it needed it to be full,
To know the true story, I needed the other half,
Once found, I lined up the story,
Some parts were true and others didn’t match,
Unsure of the truths, and unsure of the lies,
My madding rage, turned to confusion,
I’ve lost my touch to know who lies and who speaks the truth,
And so too have you,
You’ve lost your touch, to know how to play a whole song,
A song can’t every be played with only a single note,
A friend in deed you are, but my blade now protects someone else,
As a friend I offer you help, not involvement,
A new leaf has been turned, and so to has a new chapter.
