If I Could Fly
As I sit home alone,
I watch birds fly from home and back again,
So I thought if I could fly,
I’d fly away from hell and fly to heaven,
I’d fly at the speed of sound,
Flying from hell to heaven faster than lightning,
But then I wake up and realize that I can’t fly,
Fly away from my fears,
Fly away from hell and away to heaven,
Now I look up and see all the birds singing to me,
Inviting me to heaven,
But like the tortes I am stuck to earth and hell.
